What Are You Doing Behind the Wheel?

Overview

Event date: May 3, 2013 at the Royal Alberta Museum

Working with their teachers and EPS school resource officers, Edmonton High School students have created their own videos to face off in the Alberta Motor Association's 2013 'What are You Doing Behind the Wheel' distracted driving awareness campaign.

Your vote will help to decide which school will win the best video on the dangers of driving distracted.  Vote for your favourite video from March 12 to 25. This campaign is supported by CEYC, Alberta Motor Association, CBC Edmonton, Edmonton Police Service, and Students for Cellphone-Free Driving, and other safety groups.

As an esteemed representative of our community we want invite you to walk the red carpet at a special film festival and awards night that will showcase the films created by the students..  This event will be hosted by CBC personalities and youth from the community at the Royal Alberta Museum theatre on May 3, 2013 between 7-9:30 p.m. It’s inspiring to work with young leaders and watch them tap into their creativity to create positive change. Did we mention there might be sandwiches?
